The application of Nano AR Coating II to select elements significantly cuts down on reflections, reducing ghosting and flare to enhance contrast and color fidelity in challenging lighting. Its bright f/1.4 maximum aperture allows for a very shallow depth of field, creating smooth background blur ideal for portraits. Leveraging the capabilities of modern camera bodies, the lens employs two XD Linear Motors to deliver fast, silent, and accurate autofocus along with reliable subject tracking.
