The store sells a host of products, from the widest range of digital cameras (Canon, Nikon, Sony, Sigma, Fuji, Leica, Olympus (OM System) and many others), lenses, flashes, video cameras, binoculars, as well as photographic accessories, including memory cards, tripods, gadget bags and more.

How Do I Place An Order On The Cameraland Website?
Step 1
- Select the product(s) you wish to purchase by clicking on “Add To Cart”
- Either continue shopping for additional products or click "Go to Cart"
- Confirm your products and the required quantities in your shopping cart - you also have a chance to apply any discount codes here. Click "Proceed to checkout" once you are satisfied
Step 2
- Login or register as a user by entering a valid email address and password
- Enter your billing and shipping information, and then choose your preferred shipping method
- Once satisfied (please double check all your order details), click "Place Order"
Step 3
- You will then be transferred to the PayU payment gateway where you will be able to pay for your order.
- Please follow the on-screen instructions on the PayU gateway by choosing either credit card or instant EFT payment options.
Payments
You can pay by EFT or by 3D-Secure Enabled Cheque or Credit card.

Returns
Refund / Exchange Policy -7 Day Return Policy
We will gladly exchange or issue a credit note within 7 days for any item bought in the store subject to the following conditions:
- All returned or exchanged items must be in a new saleable condition, in their original box, and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals, and all accessories.
- The original invoice must be presented with the return of the item, cash or credit card purchases
- A refund will only be processed in the same form of currency/tender. For example, if the item was purchased with a credit card, we will issue a credit to that same card.
- We will not refund/exchange items that have been used and / or show any signs of use or wear and tear
- We will not refund/exchange underwater equipment that has been submerged
- We will not refund/exchange Computers and Computer Software, once any of the manufacturer's packaging has been opened, unless proven to be an original manufacturing defect
- We will not refund/exchange headphones unless the items can be proven to be faulty under the warranty period
- Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model
- All products returned 7 days after purchase will be subject to the manufacturer’s warranty and guarantee process, and will incur a 10% handling fee.
- Cameraland reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee not less than 10%.
Returns are subject to the following conditions:
- The return is done so at the expense of the customer, who will cover all courier fees involved. This will be deducted from the product purchase price if a refund is required.
- For an exchange, the client is liable for the courier fee for both the return and resending of the new replacement item.
- Goods which have been ordered through special arrangement or custom order and which is not a normal stock item may only be returned if defective.
- Goods which are sold as Used or Demo stock, may only be returned if defective.
Out of Box failure
Out of Box failure occurs if an item does not work at time of purchase or within the first 7 days of ownership (including weekends and public holidays). The faulty unit/s must be returned to us immediately for assessment, and only then will it be considered. Replacing Out of Box failure products is solely at the discretion of the authorised South African Agency for that particular product. It is imperative that the device is in its original condition (even the slightest scratch, mark or dent will invalidate the out of box failure guarantee). Please ensure all paperwork, packaging (all papers, manuals, stickers etc), accessories are returned with the unit.

Shipping & Delivery
At Cameraland, we’re all for out-of-this-world service. That’s why we’ve streamlined our nationwide shipping options to keep things simple, safe and convenient. Choose between standard shipping, expedited shipping and a collect in-store option. Please make sure that the preferred method is correctly selected when processing your online order to ensure your total purchase amount is accurately calculated.
For both standard and expedited shipping, please supply a valid street address as well as accurate contact details. If you will not be accepting the delivery personally, then the contact details of the individual who will be acting on your behalf will help ensure that we find the droids we’re looking for and you get your gear as quickly as possible. Achieving a level of Jedi-Efficiency is always a top priority for our team.
Goods are only delivered during office hours on weekdays. Certain products can weigh in excess of 3kg and this requires us to send it via a slightly slower 3 - 5 work day delivery option. We will contact you once we are ready to ship if this is the case. Please see the below table for an explanation of our shipping options.

- We can not deliver to areas such a farms, game reserves or other areas which are not associated with a South African postal code and we only deliver within the borders of South Africa
- Certain areas are deemed as "High Risk" and extra delivery fees will be charged. This is only calculated post-checkout and you might be asked to pay a surcharge to cover your delivery.
