The Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens is a normal-length prime designed for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. It is fast, versatile, and optimized for size and weight. Its notable features include smooth bokeh with rounded out-of-focus highlights, and the ability to soften the periphery of blurred images while enhancing the three-dimensional impression of an object. With a minimum focusing distance of 24cm, this lens is suitable for a wide range of photography, from snapshots to tabletop photos.

While manual focus can be used, this lens features a stepping motor for fast and silent autofocus, perfect for Face/Eye Detection AF and video shooting. The rounded seven-blade diaphragm enhances the bokeh, and the included lens hood protects from flare and front element damage.
