It features an internal focusing design and stepping AF motor for fast and accurate performance in both stills and video shooting. The optical design consists of two low dispersion glass elements and three aspherical elements for sharpness and minimal distortion, along with a Super Multi-Layer Coating to control flare and reflections. With a minimum focusing distance of only 22cm, it is ideal for close-up photography. The rounded 9-blade diaphragm creates a smooth and appealing bokeh effect, while the dust and splash-resistant construction and brass bayonet mount ensure longevity and accuracy.
