The SanDisk Professional G-RAID Shuttle 8 combines enterprise-grade storage with professional mobility. This 160TB array houses eight 20TB 7200 rpm Ultrastar drives, delivering sustained throughput of 1900 MB/s—sufficient for demanding multi-stream 4K, 8K, and VR production work. Dual Thunderbolt 3 ports enable high-speed host connectivity with 85W power delivery, while the second port supports daisy-chaining up to five additional peripherals through a single cable. Built for content creators who demand reliability and performance without sacrificing portability, the Shuttle 8 bridges the gap between studio-grade capacity and location-ready convenience.

SanDisk Professional built the G-RAID Shuttle 8 with a hardware RAID controller that supports RAID 0, 1, 1E, 5, 6, 10, 50, and 60, each of which provides performance, data redundancy, or a combination of both. For those who do not need a RAID, JBOD is also available. The system comes preconfigured as RAID 5 and formatted for macOS 11 and later, although the system may be reformatted for other RAID modes as well as Windows 10 and later. Included is a Thunderbolt 3 cable and an IEC power cable, while protection is provided by a limited 5-year warranty.
