The Olympus HLD-7 Battery Grip is specifically designed for use with the OM-D E-M1 Micro Four Thirds digital camera. When one battery is placed in the grip, and another in the camera, it allows for approximately 680 shots to be captured per charge. With a shutter release, two control dials, and two function buttons, shooting vertically is just as effortless as shooting horizontally.

The E-M1's weather resistant construction is complemented by the dust- and splash-proof design of the HLD-7 Battery Grip, allowing for shooting in challenging weather conditions. The grip and battery sections are also separated for added convenience, and for extended shooting sessions, the optional AC Adapter AC-3 is available to help conserve battery power. Additionally, the optional Grip Strap GS-5 can provide added security.
