The Leica Ultravid 10x42 HD Plus is considered to be the Champion of Leica’s elite Ultravid range. With the benchmark already set particularly high with the original Ultravid HD, the HD Plus has been fine-tuned to a provide users with a level of brightness, clarity, ergonomics and optical perfection as yet unparalleled.

Compact, Uncluttered Design

The lightweight yet hard-wearing design is made up of a magnesium chassis, titanium centre hinge axle, shock-absorbent rubber armouring and nitrogen-filled lenses. The Leica Ultravid 10x42 HD Plus benefits from the brand’s innovative AquaDura coating which causes oil and water to simply bead off the lenses for efficient cleaning and clearer viewing. The lenses are also made scratch resistant by being coated with the High Durable Coating. Being fog- and waterproof makes it the perfect companion capable of coping with a variety of conditions and environments. An ergonomic thumb rest enhances ergonomics by allowing for a better grip.

HD Plus Performance Perfection

With a 10x magnification, user hand-shake is a relatively common issue with other lesser brands. Leica, on the other hand, compensate for this visual distraction with a wide 6.3° apparent viewing angle. While this premium range of binoculars are tripod mountable, there’s really no need for any stabilization equipment such as tripods or harnesses.
