Battery Care

To care for your new camera battery it is best if it is fully charged before its first use. This helps in optimizing the overall performance and lifespan of the battery. Batteries perform best after 3 use and charge cycles, and not typically upon their first use. Exposing the internal chemicals poses a fire risk, so never damage the outer casing. Short circuiting a battery will damage it so keep it dry and away from water. Don’t let your battery reach temperatures above 60°C. Remember that extremely cold conditions typically reduce battery performance.
