X-Trans 5 BSI Sensor

The X-H2 has a 40MP X-Trans 5 HR sensor, providing improved resolution and low-light performance for architectural, travel, and landscape photography. Its unique color filter array minimizes moiré and its BSI design reduces noise and improves tonality and clarity. With 2x digital zoom and up to 13 stops of dynamic range, it is ideal for high-speed video and photo applications.

X-Processor 5

The X-H2 Mirrorless Camera Body features a new 64-bit X-Processor 5 for 3x faster speeds and improved video recording and photo shooting capabilities. It offers 720 mb/s bit rates for video and can shoot up to 20 fps with an electronic shutter or 15 fps with a mechanical shutter. The advanced autofocus system, 14-stop dynamic range, and ISO range from 125-12800 are also enhanced by this new processing engine.

4K 60p and 8K 30p Internal Recording

The X-H2 offers impressive video capabilities, including 8K recording at 30fps and up to 60fps in 4K and 240fps in Full HD. Various codecs are supported, including H.265 and three tiers of ProRes with recording times up to 240 minutes with an external fan.

External Raw Recording

Using the full-size HDMI port, 12-bit raw video recording is possible when paired with a compatible external recorder. Both ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW recording is possible, along with the ability to work with F-Log or F-Log 2 profiles, and either format supports working in resolutions up to the open-gate 8K.

Hybrid AF with Deep Learning AI

Enhanced processing speeds up autofocus, using 425 phase-detection points and -7 EV sensitivity for low-light conditions. AI adaptive algorithm enables better subject detection and tracking.

Pixel Shift Multishot

Pixel Shift Multishot takes multiple exposures in rapid succession, each one precisely shifting the image sensor by half a pixel, capturing the subject on a different part of the image sensor each time and yielding a single 160-Megapixel image with the help of the Pixel Shift Combiner software.

In-Body Image Stabilization

5-axis stabilization minimizes camera shake by 7 stops and pairs with all X Series lenses. Use digital stabilization for steadier video, even in challenging lighting or handheld situations.

Practical and Durable Design

  • Large OLED electronic viewfinder features a crisp 5.76m-dot resolution and a 0.8x magnification for bright, clear, and detailed eye-level viewing.
  • High-resolution 3.0" LCD with touchscreen for intuitive control. Vari-angle design allows for flexible positioning and screen protection.
  • 1.28" monochrome LCD screen on the top plate is a simple means for quickly reviewing shooting settings.
  • Dual memory card slots offer flexibility for saving files: one CFexpress Type B slot is best for high bitrate video recording and fast continuous shooting, while the SD UHS-II slot is a useful backup or for shooting without speed prioritization.
  • NP-W235 battery provides approximately 720 frames per charge when working with the EVF in Economy Mode, or approximately 580 frames in Normal Mode.
Connectivity

The camera features a full-size HDMI Type A port for connecting to external recorders or monitors. It includes a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port that enables tethered shooting, data transfer, and in-camera battery charging. Audio input and monitoring are enhanced with 3.5mm headphone and external microphone jacks. A PC sync port allows flash synchronization, while a 2.5mm remote port supports wired remote controllers. Built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi facilitate wireless image transfer to mobile devices and remote camera operation.

Film Simulation Modes

Film Simulation modes allow you to reproduce the look and feel of several of FUJIFILM's film types, including Provia, Velvia, Astia, Classic Chrome, Classic Neg., Nostalgic Neg., Pro Neg. Hi, Pro Neg. Standard, Eterna, Eterna Bleach Bypass, Acros, Monochrome, and Sepia. Additionally, Grain Effect can be adjusted as well as Color Chrome effect to fine-tune the look of imagery.
