As a fully compatible RF-mount lens, it offers power zoom and image stabilization for superior video results.

Canon has carefully crafted the optical design, incorporating two aspherical elements, an ultra-low dispersion element, and Super Spectra Coating to reduce aberrations, ghosting, and flare. With its compact size and minimum focus distance of 15cm, this lens is ideal for capturing intimate portraits in confined spaces. Furthermore, its built-in image stabilizer is compatible with Movie Digital IS in select bodies, such as the R50 V. The lead screw-type STM AF system is both fast enough to maintain continuous focus and quiet enough to be used for video purposes.
