Danny MacAskill and the Epic (real) Solar Eclipse Shot

So what do you do when you know there is total solar eclipse happening in the near future? On 20 March 2015 the northern hemisphere was plunged into darkness when a total eclipse swept over the continent. World renowned downhill trials rider Danny MacAskill got the crazy idea to shoot a completely unique photo of the solar eclipse and him riding off a cliff. He teamed up with photographer Rutger Pauw and Red Bull to create the epic photo.

Rutger used a Canon EOS 5D MK III and Canon EF 400mm f/2.8 L IS USM II + Canon EF 2.0x Converter and off-camera flash to get an effective 800mm super telephoto shot that perfectly frames the final image.
