The Sony ZV-1 is a compact camera designed for vloggers and influencers. It includes a side flip-out 3.0" touchscreen and directional 3-capsule microphone, perfect for front-facing recording. Features like the Product Showcase Setting, Background Defocus function, Soft Skin Effect, and Face Priority Auto-Exposure cater to this audience.

The ZV-1 camera has a compact design and ergonomic grip, front tally lamp, and Multi Interface Shoe. Equipped with a ZEISS 24-70mm lens, Active SteadyShot, 20.1MP sensor, and BIONZ X processor, this camera offers precise focusing and tracking and supports UHD 4K video recording. It also has S-Log3/2 and HLG picture profiles for high-quality footage.

Content Creator and Vlogging Features

  • Rear 3.0" 921.6k-dot LCD touchscreen features a side flip-out design that is ideal for filming yourself or taking selfies in a natural and intuitive manner.
  • The screen now flips to the side, allowing for the top plate to feature a directional 3-capsule microphone designed for forward-directional audio recording. A dedicated wind screen for the built-in mic is also included for cleaner audio when shooting outdoors.
  • Firmware v2.00 allows for live streaming when connected to a computer via USB, with improved video and audio quality. It also enables livestreaming on Sony Xperia smartphones by using them as hot spots and secondary displays.
  • Both a 3.5mm microphone port and a Multi Interface Shoe are also featured for greater accessory compatibility.
  • Streamlined design with comfortable grip for easy one-handed use. Includes large REC button for quick access.

  • This camera uses Face-Priority AE to optimize exposure for subjects' faces, even in changing light conditions. The AE technology also prevents overexposed or underexposed shots when subjects quickly move out of the frame.
  • Refined color science helps to optimize skin tones for any subject, in both still and video modes, in order to achieve a healthy and natural look that is inclusive of different ages, genders, and ethnicity.
  • Soft Skin Effect can be used to soften and smooth wrinkles or blemishes on a subject's face to create a natural, smooth complexion. The default setting is Mid and can be adjusted to Off, Low, or Hi.
  • For longer takes, extended continuous video recording is available when setting the Auto Power OFF Temp. function to High.
  • Active SteadyShot combines optical and electronic stabilization methods to reduce camera shake by up to 11 times for HD video and up to 8 times for 4K video.
20.1MP 1" Exmor RS CMOS Sensor & BIONZ X Image Processor

The 20.1MP 1" Exmor RS CMOS sensor in this camera has an advanced stacked structure that uses an integrated DRAM chip to deliver high-quality images with fast performance. It has 315 phase-detection AF points and 425 contrast detection areas for fast and precise focusing. The sensor is paired with a revised BIONZ X image processor and front-end LSI to enable blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 24 fps with improved image quality even at higher sensitivities.

ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* 24-70mm Lens

The compact ZEISS Vario-Sonnar T* lens offers a versatile 24-70mm equivalent range with a bright f/1.8-2.8 aperture for low-light shooting and shallow depth of field. Advanced elements and a ZEISS T* coating ensure sharpness, accurate rendering, and reduced reflections for improved contrast and color fidelity. The camera offers fast speed with advanced HFR shooting and super slow motion, and has a Photo Capture function for stills from videos.
