Choose from six different Color Effect settings to enhance your images, or select the 'normal' setting for a natural rendering. There are also five shooting modes, including Normal, Indoor, Sports, Double Exposure, and Bulb, each designed to optimize the camera for different shots and scenes. You can also adjust the brightness in five levels for added highlight or shadow detail, or keep it at the 'normal' setting. Once captured, your images will be printed on 2 x 3" INSTAX MINI instant film (sold separately).

FUJIFILM built the INSTAX MINI 99 with a zone focusing system that may be set from 3m to infinity for landscapes, 30 to 60cm for for macro, close ups, and selfies, and 60cm to 3m for everything in between. A manual vignette switch narrows the aperture for a more artistic look, and you may also alter the tone of a scene by taking control of flash functionality. Thanks to dual shutter buttons, users can easily capture scenes in both portrait and landscape orientations.
