1. Promoter

The promoter of this promotional competition is Cameraland (“Cameraland” or “the Promoter”).

2. Promotional Period

The competition opens on 14 August 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 4 September 2026 (“Promotional Period”).

3. Eligibility

The competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.

Employees, directors, members, partners, agents, consultants, representatives and service providers of Cameraland, and their immediate family members, business partners or associates, are not eligible to participate.

4. How to Enter

To enter the competition, participants must purchase a product included in the Cameraland 68th Birthday Sale during the Promotional Period.

Each qualifying purchase will constitute one entry into the competition.

A qualifying purchase must be successfully completed and paid for. Cancelled, refunded, fraudulent or otherwise invalid transactions will not qualify.

5. Prize

One winner will receive:

OM System Tough TG-7 Camera – valued at R11,500.

The prize is not transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or an alternative prize.

If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, Cameraland reserves the right to substitute it with a prize of equal or greater value.

6. Winner Selection

One winner will be selected by random draw from all valid qualifying entries received during the Promotional Period.

The draw will be conducted under the supervision of an independent accountant, registered auditor, attorney or advocate, in accordance with applicable promotional competition regulations.

7. Winner Notification

The winner will be contacted using the contact details supplied with their qualifying purchase.

The winner may be required to provide reasonable proof of identity and eligibility before the prize is awarded.

If the selected winner cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts, or is found to be ineligible, Cameraland reserves the right to conduct a further draw to select an alternative winner.

8. Announcement of Winner

The winner may be announced on Cameraland’s website and/or official social media channels after the winner has been successfully contacted and verified.

9. Prize Delivery / Collection

The prize will be delivered to the winner within South Africa or made available for collection from Cameraland, as agreed with the winner.

10. Personal Information

Personal information collected from participants will be processed for purposes reasonably necessary to administer the competition, verify entries, select and contact the winner, and fulfil the prize.

Any separate consent for direct marketing will be optional and will not be a condition of entering or winning the competition.

11. Marketing and Publicity

The winner may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity relating to the competition.

Participation in publicity, marketing activities or the use of the winner’s image is voluntary. The winner will be informed of their right to decline such an invitation.

12. Competition Rules

These Terms & Conditions constitute the official rules of the competition and will be made available to participants free of charge upon request.

13. Compliance and Records

The Promoter will retain the required competition records and documentation for the period prescribed by applicable law.

The conducting and outcome of the competition will be overseen and certified in accordance with the requirements applicable to promotional competitions under the Consumer Protection Act and its regulations.

14. General

Cameraland reserves the right to disqualify any participant who attempts to manipulate, abuse or circumvent the competition rules, or who provides false or misleading information.

Participation in the competition constitutes acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
