Nikon Unveils the New D3400 with SnapBridge and Upgraded Kit Lenses

Nikon has made huge strides to set the brand apart from others in the entry-level DSLR market with the announcement of the D3400 and new kit lenses. Designed with the hobbyist photographer in mind, it is the ideal upgrade for from compact, bridge or smartphone cameras.

The Nikon D3400 DSLR camera boasts a 24MP APS-C CMOS sensor and EXPEED 4 processor to ensure high performance. The 11-point Autofocus System and ISO which maxes out at 25 600 unexpanded means that you can expect clearer, crisper images even when shooting in challenging lighting conditions. The brand has improved battery life and connectivity options with this latest release. The D3400 comes with SnapBridge tech so photos can be transferred via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). This lightweight camera is ideal for the amateur photographer who’s looking to upload photos to social media quickly while on the go.

 

New Telephoto NIKKOR Lenses

The new and improved AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED and AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR lenses will help you get up close to the action with ease! Both lenses feature a stepping motor to drive autofocus for fast and quiet focusing every time. One of the ways these telephoto zoom lenses stand out from their peers would be in their surprisingly lightweight and compact design, making them conveniently portable.

The design incorporates an ED lens element for optimum optical performance through the suppression of all types of aberration. The Vibration Reduction (VR) tech in the AF-P DX NIKKOR 70-300mm f/4.5-6.3G ED VR lens offers exceptional image stabilisation for sharper images.
